This is what Mistress Davina's Sanctuary of Submission is all about, a safe haven where like minded people are always welcome. A door which is always open to its members who may just wish to have a coffee and browse some bdsm related literature or have a light lunch and use the internet facilities without having to book a session with the Mistress herself. We are trying, in a small way, to unite the unnecessarily fragmented community that you belong to, to bring together people from all walks of life whose fundamental common interest automatically crosses all barriers of race, class or income, people who know they can trust each other for the simple reason that the vanilla world would not trust them if they knew what they really were at heart, in short, creating a little bdsm family.
This family concept is absolutely essential to our dream; the facilities (which will be second to none) are simply the icing on a perfect cake, nice on its own in small doses but ultimately lacking the substance needed to support it, and that substance is our family. You are important, crucially important. You have so much to give our community, so many ideas to share, so many things you want to experience. You are unique and at the Sanctuary we recognise this. You will always be treated as a valued individual, not just another client. You need not feel alone any longer.
Every family has a member to whom all others look up for inspiration, reassurance and spiritual guidance. Mistress Davina is our Godmother in this respect; from her dreams a world has been born in which we can exist as we really are. On the one hand Mistress Davina is a Goddess (although you are very unlikely to hear her describe herself as such), yet on the other hand she is a real person, a kind, warm-hearted lady who simply had a vision, a vision she has fulfilled not only for herself but for you. Curiously it is this earthiness about her that elevates her way above any Mistress who would boast superiority; a session with Mistress Davina will leave you in no doubt that you are in the presence of a very special lady indeed, but you will also feel that you have made a real connection with a real person and not an actress, someone who accepts you for what you are and welcomes you into her family.
